Saurashtra had played off against Arunachal Pradesh in their last encounter, where Saurashtra won the toss and elected to field. Arunachal had a horrible start as they were reduced to just 13 runs by the time they had lost six wickets. However, they had a mini comeback as they played through their entire innings and set a target of 67 runs. Saurashtra did not even waste a single ball in the chase, as they just used 3.3 overs to chase down the total. They won the match emphatically by 10 wickets.
