The stage is all set for the final of the Maharashtra Champions Trophy 2024. The summit clash will feature the Ashtapailu Sports (APS) and Punit Balan Group (PBG) against each other. The battle for the title will begin at 10:30 AM on October 29. Both teams will be eyeing winning this all-important fixture to end up winning the glorious title.

Ashtapailu Sports took on Nok 99 Puneri Bappa in the tournament’s first semi-final. Kunal Kothavade’s men batted first and scored 176 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. They successfully defended it after bundling out NOK at the score of 136 runs in 17.4 overs and won the game by 40 runs to make it to the final.

PBG defeated Jets CC in the second semi-final by a heavy margin of 80 runs. Siddharth Mhatre-led side posted a massive total of 209 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Later, they bundled the opposition (JET) at the score of just 129 runs in 15.1 overs to comfortably secure a spot in the tournament’s summit clash.
