Artech Bluestar (ATB) and AI Sayer (ASR) will face off in the 59th match of the KCC T10 Summer Challenge League on July 11 at the Sulaibiya Cricket Ground in Kuwait. ATB are sinking at the bottom of the standings after failing to win any of their seven games. ASR, on the other side, are in first place after winning 8 of their ten games.
Artech Bluestar (ATB) have yet to record a victory, and the obstacles that have contributed to their losses have persisted throughout the league stage. With the exception of the opener, nobody in the top or middle order has taken up the duty of rebuilding the innings; instead, they have fallen like a house of cards. Their intention or lack of talent is particularly evident in their middle, which consistently generated runs in the single digits in the majority of their games. In the last five games, they have lost an average of five wickets, which is a respectable pace, but their scoring rate has never reached its peak. Another significant factor in their successive setbacks is the fact that their bowlers have not taken more than four wickets in a game in the previous five innings.
On the other hand, AI Sayer (ASR) occupies the top spot in the points table with an 80% winning rate this season and has the exact opposite statistics to those of their rival. Their most recent pattern has been to bat first and make a high total; for instance, they recently played and successfully defended it by scoring 132 for the loss of just three wickets. They have also been successful in chasing totals. Their average number of wickets taken per game has been around five, which might be the only thing to worry about.
