Preview
After facing a massive 9-wicket defeat in the second ODI against Pakistan (PAK) and getting the series levelled by 1-1, the hosts Australia (AUS) are set to take on Pakistan in the third and last ODI of the three-match series, which will also be a series decider. Perth’s Perth Stadium will host this game on November 10, 9:00 AM (IST).
The Aussies are also on a backfoot ahead of the game as their five key players have been released from the final fixture’s squad. The ODI World Champions didn’t live up to their stature and 'in-form run' in the last game, they were bundled out at the score of just 163 runs in 35 overs. It was only the former skipper Steve Smith who crossed the individual mark of 30+ runs. Under the leadership of stand-in skipper Josh Inglis, they will look ahead to repeat their first ODI performance in the last clash to clinch the series by 2-1.
The men in green lost the series opener by a narrow margin of 2 wickets against the hosts before they defeated Pat Cummins and Co. in the second ODI by 9 wickets. Under new skipper Mohammad Rizwan’s captaincy, Pakistan will be eyeing winning this game and clinching a rare ODI series win against Australia in Australia.
