Preview

Australia (AUS) will be hosting West Indies (WI) in the second Test match at Adelaide Oval from December 8. Steven Smith and Marnus Labuschagne smashed double centuries and Travis Head contributed 99 runs to help Australia score 598/4 in the first innings of the Perth Test. West Indies started well with both openers Kraigg Brathwaite and Tagenarine Chanderpaul scoring fifties but their innings collapsed on just 283 runs. For Australia, captain Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc took three wickets and Nathan Lyon grabbed two.

Australia declared their second innings on just 182/2 to put a target of 498 runs with Labuschagne scoring 104 runs off just 110 balls. Once again West Indies started well with Brathwaite scoring a century and Chanderpaul adding 45 runs. But star spinner Nathan Lyon took six wickets to bowl out West Indies on 333 runs to guide Australia to a big 164-run win.
