Preview
Australia Women (AUS-W) will be hosting Pakistan Women (PAK-W) in the first ODI match at Allan Border Field in Brisbane on Monday (January 16). Australia Women enter this match after beating India away by 1-4 in the five-match T20I series last month. Alyssa Healy led the team on the India tour before getting injured and is being ruled out of the white-ball series against Pakistan. But the Australian team welcomes their regular captain Meg Lanning back in the team after a big break.
Pakistan Women lost against Ireland in their last T20I series in November and have struggled for results against comparatively big teams. They have lost all of their last five ODI games against Australia, including a World Cup clash by seven wickets in March 2022.
