Aaliyah Alleyne in the lower middle order provided some stability with his sensible knock of 35 runs but still could not save her team from being bowled out for a petty total of 83 runs. Australia, on the other hand, started their innings fantastically, amassing 57 runs for the opening stand. The match was just a formality from there on, and it was done away by the pair of Ellyse Perry and Beth Mooney, who remained unbeaten and won their team the match by eight wickets in less than 15 overs.
