Preview
The Bangladesh women team will take on West Indies women in the 13th game of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, which is slated to take place on October 10 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah. Both sides will be aiming to win the next game to stay relevant in the marquee event. Interestingly, both sides have won one game and suffered one loss from the two games they have played so far. However, the 2016 T20 World Cup champions West Indies women sit at the second spot while Bangladesh are at the fourth spot owing to the net run rate difference.
Talking about their journey, the Bangla Tigresses thwarted World Cup debutants Scotland in the first match of the T20 World Cup. However, the Heather Knight-led England team defeated them in their second game.
In contrast, the West Indies side suffered the defeat by 10 wickets against Proteas Women. However, Hayley Matthews and her women bounced back in the next game as they crushed the Scotland side by 6 wickets.
