Preview

Bangladesh Women (BAN W) will be taking on Australia Women (AUS W) in the second match of the T20I series. Australia have a lead in the series after winning the first match by 10 wickets. A clinical performance by the visiting side helped them to win the first T20I without breaking a sweat. Australia outplayed their counterparts as usual in all three departments. At no point did they seem like losing the match.

In the second T20I, one can expect a similar domination from the visiting side, given their track record against the home side. Australia women have won all their games against Bangladesh women across all formats of the game. They have dominated Bangladesh women just like how they have dominated many of the world-class teams in the world. Winning the game would be a herculean effort from Bangladesh women at this point and might be considered an upset.

The second T20I between the two sides will take place on April 2 at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. On paper, Australia seems to have a mighty team, too, better than Bangladesh Women, who do not have a great record in cricket. They have some of the best players in the world, like Ellyse Perry, Ashleigh Gardner, Tahlia McGrath, Georgia Wareham, Sophie Molineux, Alyssa Healy, Beth Mooney, Phoebe Litchfield, and many others.
