Tigers too started brilliantly as they had smashed 45 runs in just three overs when rain arrived again and the match could not continue further. They were two runs behind the DLS total and hence lost the game.

Sri Lankan Lions squared off against Limassol Qalandars in their last encounter where Sri Lankan Lions won the toss and elected to bat. The match was reduced to nine overs a side due to the rain. On a good track to bat, the Lions were simply sensational as they smashed 50 runs in just two overs. They kept hitting at the same rate and piled on a huge total of 158 runs. Qalandars did not start well and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. They crumbled under the pressure of such a huge chase and lost the game by 71 runs.
