On a good surface to bat and with such a huge target ahead, Croatia would have expected to make a brilliant start but that could not happen as they lost their first wicket just at the score of two. They had a decent partnership for the second wicket where they even scored runs at a rapid pace but as soon as the partnership broke, the scoring rate fell and they even failed to add another good partnership. Wickets kept falling one after the other and by the end of the 10 overs, Croatia could only score 58 runs, hence losing the match by 82 runs.
