Dubai Dare Devils will lock horns with Valley Boys in the 33rd match of the ICCA Arabian T20 League at the ICC Academy in Dubai on November 9. Dubai Dare Devils have had a pretty ordinary season with three losses from three matches and are present at the bottom of the table in Group A. Valley Boys, on the other hand, have not been too different, with just one win from three games. They are placed sixth in Group A.
Dubai Dare Devils last played against Suncorp, where Dubai Dare Devils won the toss and elected to bat. They started aggressively on a good batting pitch and had a good opening partnership. The middle order fumbled a little as they lost quick wickets in the middle overs, but a sensational knock by Sumeet Gosain took the team to a huge total of 209 runs. Suncorp, in return, scored at a good pace but kept losing wickets right from the start. They did not have any big partnership to support and, as a result, lost the game by 79 runs.
Valley Boys squared off against Suncorp in their last game, where Suncorp won the toss and elected to bat. The decision to bat did not seem like a good idea, as they lost their entire top-order on a collective total of one run. They never really could come out of this setback and kept losing wickets at regular intervals, setting up a target of 125 runs for Valley Boys. With an opening partnership of 62 runs, Boys went all guns blazing and easily chased down the total with nine wickets and 46 balls at hand.
