Preview

The historic career of star pacer James Anderson came to a fitting end at iconic Lord's when the England side defeated the West Indies by an innings and 114 runs to conclude the game in under 3 days and take the great lead in the series. Notably, Ben Stokes and Co. set their eyes to seal the series at Trent Bridge as the second Test against the West Indies commences on July 18.

Meanwhile, there will be some big celebrations on the first day as the pavilion end will be renamed in the honour of the star pacer Stuart Broad. However, the main focus for the home team remains the same, as they look to climb up in the World Test Championship rankings to get some crucial points. However, the West Indies cannot be written off just yet.

Kraigg Brathwaite and his men found themselves in a similar spot earlier this year when they outclassed Pat Cummins led Australian side at Gabba to level up the series. However, the visiting sides will be looking for the same turnaround in Nottingham as they aim to cease England's dominating momentum.
