The England women are all set to lock horns against the New Zealand women for the second T20I game of the five matches of the series, which is slated to take place on July 9 at the Sussex Central Ground. Notably, the Black Caps women's tour of England commences with three matches of the ODI series, where the hosts outclassed New Zealand women by 3-0. However, the Kiwis suffered a terrible loss in the first T20I game on July 6 at the Rose Bowl in Southampton. But the side still has a great chance to bounce back in the second T20I to level up the series by 1-1.
Speaking about the first T20I, the hosts posted a great total of 197/3 in the given 20 overs. However, New Zealand kept losing wickets on a regular basis and could only manage to get 138/9, making them lose the game by 59 runs.
Meanwhile, the Heather Knight side will be keen to continue their dominating momentum in the shortest format of the game after winning the ODI series by 3-0 and the first T20I by 1-0. However, Sophie Devine's side will be looking to take revenge for the first T20I loss against the hosts.
