Gulf Giants won against Sharjah Warriors by seven wickets in their last group-stage match to secure a top spot in the league table. David Wiese took five wickets to bowl out Sharjah on 107 runs and then Colin de Gandhomme top-scored 35 runs to guide Giants to an easy win with 21 balls remaining.

Desert Vipers suffered a 25-run defeat against Gulf Giants in their last group-stage match but finished in the second position in the table. Giants posted a big 181-run target while batting first with Matheesha Pathirana taking two wickets for the Vipers. But the batters struggled in their chase despite Tom Curran smashing 42* off 33 and were restricted to just 155/6 in 20 overs. The Giants won both the group-stage fixtures against the Vipers and are favorites to reach the final on Wednesday.
