GT
89/10 (17.3 ov)
DC
92/4 (8.5 ov)
Player of the Match: Rishabh Pant
Losing skipper Shubman Gill said:
"Our batting was very average, and it is important to move on and come back strong. The wicket was alright, if you see some of the dismissals, it had nothing to do with the pitch. Poor shot selection I would say. When the opposition are chasing 89, unless someone takes a double hat-trick, the opposition will always be in the game. This is just the halfway mark of the season for us, we have won 3 and hopefully we win another 5-6 from the next 7 like in the last couple of years," Gill said.

Here's what Tristan Stubbs said after the first innings:
"Amazing to get wickets, the boys bowled beautifully out there, the seamers started well upfront, our two spinners, they're world-class. I was just trying to hit the wicket, whatever happens happens, but fortunately it worked. I saw him coming down (on the stumping against Shahrukh). I've been bowling to Rishabh at the nets whenever he's batting, hoping that I'll get to bowl by fluke (during the match), I was going towards long-on when I was called up. We have watched enough IPL, there's always a twist, we'll have to start well and tick them off. I called my dad yesterday, he doesn't like the way cricket's going (on it becoming a batter's game), but I think it's the extra player option which has been the reason for the way the game's going (this IPL)" Stubbs said.
AND THATS IT
GT got bundled out for 89 runs. Mukesh Kumar picked up the final wicket as Noor departed for one. Stay tuned for the chase.
