Preview
Brisbane Heat will take on Hobart Hurricanes in the 36th match of the Big Bash League. This match will be played at The Gabba. Hobart Hurricanes are the table toppers with six wins in eight matches. They won the previous match against Melbourne Renegades. On the other hand, Brisbane Heat have three wins in eight matches and are placed fifth in the points table.
This is must-win match for Heat against the Hobart Hurricanes at the Gabba as Brisbane chase the first of two wins from their remaining games to qualify for the Finals for the third year in a row. Brisbane Heat will welcome back Australian internationals Usman Khawaja and Marnus Labuschagne to the side for this game. Khawaja will captain the side with Munro missing out due to injury. English allrounder Paul Walter comes back into the squad after recovering from a minor shoulder injury.
Hobart Hurricanes have won six in a row and are looking in sublime form after beating Melbourne Renegades in the previous match. Melbourne Renegades were restricted to 154/7 and it was a below par total. But Hurricanes had a dodgy start to the chase having slumped to 63/4 in nine overs but Nikhil Chaudhary's 27-ball 36 and Matthew Wade helped them chase down the target. This promises to be another closely fought game between these two sides.
