Preview

Harare Hurricanes will lock horns with Cape Town Samp Army in the fourth match of the Zimbabwe Afro T10 at the Harare Sports Club in Harare on July 22. Harare Hurricanes have played just one match so far, which they lost, and are at the bottom of the table. Cape Town Samp Army, on the other hand, have a similar record but, due to a better net run rate, are in fourth place.

Harare Hurricanes had squared off against Bulawayo Braves in their last match, where Harare Hurricanes had won the toss and elected to bowl. Braves started in a rather aggressive manner where the attack was led by Sikandar Raza, who played a fantastic knock of 61 and remained unbeaten. His knock propelled the team to a huge score of 128 runs. Hurricanes were quite different in their approach and were slow to start. They even kept losing wickets regularly, due to which they could only make 79 runs by the end. Bulawayo Braves won the match by a huge margin of 49 runs.

Cape Town Samp Army had played against Durban Qalandars in their last encounter, where the toss was won by Durban Qalandars, who had chosen to bat. Qalandars' batters had a fantastic day on the field, smashing bowlers around the park. The opening stand lasted for 87 runs, forming the basis for them to post a target of 127 for Cape Town. Samp Army started well and maintained the required run rate. They got a little slow in the middle, due to which they were left a few balls short towards the end and lost the match by just eight runs.
