Preview

India A Under 19 Team will lock horns with Bangladesh Under 19 in the 1st match of the Quadrangular Under-19 Series at the Devineni Praneetha Ground in Mulapadu on November 13. This is going to give good match practice for the Under 19 young players of both these teams with an expectation of display of good cricket from them.

India A Under 19 Team had squared off against Bangladesh Under 19 in their last encounter, where India A Under 19 Team won the toss and elected to bowl. Being put to bat, Bangladesh started really well, with two of the batters from their top-order scoring fifties. However, a display of tight bowling from the Indian bowlers did pull back the game to topple Bangladesh for 230. India started the chase decently, with Angkrish looking in sublime touch. He did not receive much support from the other end, though. With batters not being able to capitalize, India A Under 19 were bowled out for 224, falling short by six runs.

Bangladesh Under 19 had last played against South Africa Under 19 in their last game, where Bangladesh Under 19 won the toss and elected to field. South Africa did not start well, with their entire top order falling cheaply. Their middle order did try and take some responsibility, scoring the bulk of the runs. None of the batters could convert, though, so the team was bowled out for 210. Bangladesh did not start too well, but half-centuries from Adil Siddik and Ariful Islam guided them to a win by three wickets.
