India Under-19 will lock horns with Nepal Under-19 in the 33rd match of the U19 World Cup at the Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein on February 2. Topping the charts in Group 1, India have won all their three matches so far in the Super Sixes round, while Nepal have lost all its three games so far and are fifth in the table.
India Under-19s played against New Zealand Under-19s in their last game, where New Zealand Under-19s won the toss and elected to field. India started decently with the bat and had fabulous partnerships for second as well as third wickets. Musheer smashed a fantastic century which led the team to a total of 295 runs. New Zealand, in reply, started horribly and it just kept on getting worse as the game progressed forward. They lost wickets in a heap due to which they could not form partnerships and lost the game by a huge margin of 214 runs.
Nepal Under-19s squared off against Bangladesh Under-19s in their last encounter, where Nepal Under-19s won the toss and elected to bat. They could not utilize the opportunity in front of them after winning the toss as they lacked good partnerships. There was a good stand for the fourth wicket but no assistance later on meant they were bundled out for just 169. Bangladesh had a much better start in comparison as they had an opening stand of 67. They lost a couple of wickets but were easily able to win the game by five wickets.
