India will take on Australia in the final of the ODI Cricket World Cup 2023 on Sunday (November 19) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. India and Australia have faced each other 13 times so far in the ODI World Cup. India have won on five occasions, while Australia have been victorious in eight matches. In the league stage this year, India defeated Australia by six wickets after chasing down a mere target of 200 runs in 41.2 overs. KL Rahul was adjudged Player of the Match for his knock of 97 runs off 115 deliveries. Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets for just 28 runs in 10 overs.
India defeated New Zealand in the semi-final by 70 runs after posting a total of 397 runs on the board. Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer scored centuries for India.
