Preview

India will take on England in the third match of the ODI Series. This match will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. India have already won the series 2-0 with a win in Cuttack and will be looking for a whitewash while England will be keen to bounce back and take some sort of momentum going into the Champions Trophy which is scheduled in a few weeks time.

England opted to bat first in the second match and put up a pretty good performance with the bat scoring 304 runs in the first innings. Ben Duckett and Phil Salt once again provided them with a good start and Root scored a half-century before Livingstone finished things off in style as they posted a good total. In reply, it was a total Rohit show for India as the opener scored his 32nd ODI hundred and made a return to form.

Gill supported his captain well with a well compiled half century and India were cruising along the way. A couple of wickets fell in quick time and Shreyas Iyer brought back some momentum with 47 and Axar saw it through to the end as India completed a well deserved series win. England will be keen to bounce back and they will be without the service of Jacob Bethell for this match.
