Preview

Ireland and Sri Lanka head to the scenic Florida to get themselves in shape for the upcoming T20 World Cup. The two teams will want to iron out the flaws they may have and sort their team before the tournament can begin. Sri Lanka have a massive collection of stars who can turn the game around with the bat while Ireland are known to be giant killers and can turn the tournament around with their never say die attitude.

Ireland (IRE) came into the T20 World Cup 2024 on a high after topping the tri-nation series which also included Scotland and the Netherlands. Most of the Irish batters come in with decent time in the middle and their bowlers too are high on confidence after showing during the recent series.

Sri Lanka (SL) didn’t have a great start to their preparation for the tournament as they lost to Netherlands by 20 runs in their warm up game. Wanindu Hasaranga is back at the helm and he will want to make sure that he leads his side to the World Cup glory. This time Sri Lanka will fancy their chances as they have some of the best T20 talents in their side.
