Preview
Jinnah CC will lock horns with Hammarby in the 33rd match of the ECS Sweden 2023 at the Marsa Cricket Club in Stockholm on June 11. Jinnah CC have won three matches from their four matches so far and are at the fourth position in the rankings. Hammarby, on the other hand, have won just one from their four matches and are at the ninth position in the table.
Jinnah CC had played against Huddinge in their last encounter where Huddinge won the toss and elected to bat. Choosing to bat, they lost a wicket early but they kept scoring at a good rate. Though there were no individual huge scores, there were a few good partnerships made here and there which helped the team reach a good total of 136 runs at the loss of seven wickets. Jinnah CC had a brilliant start with an opening partnership of 50 runs. They lost just four wickets in the process and were going great but due to some excellent bowling towards the end Huddinge managed to defend the total and win the match by 12 runs.
Hammarby had squared off against Sikif in their last match where Hammarby won the toss and elected to bat. They had an explosive start as their opening partnership lasted for 35 runs in just two overs. They lost two wickets in rather quick succession but a solid third wicket partnership followed which stabilised them. A good finish towards the end helped them post a good total of 136 runs on the board. In reply, Sikif lost their first wicket on just their second ball but did not look back from there. They kept the required run rate in check and did not lose too many wickets either. Hence they chased down the target and won the match by six wickets.
