Karachi Kings will lock horns with Multan Sultans in the 19th match of the Pakistan Super League 2024 at the National Stadium in Karachi on March 3. Karachi Kings have won two of their five games so far and are presently fifth in the table while Multan Sultans have bossed the proceedings with five wins and being present at the top of the table.
Karachi Kings had played against Quetta Gladiators in their last encounter where Quetta Gladiators won the toss and elected to bowl. Losing their skipper early, they managed to have a good second-wicket partnership. They kept losing wickets at regular intervals and none of the batters could really stand up with their performance as they were restricted to 165. Gladiators were off to a brilliant start owing to a fifty by Roy. However, the Kings pulled the game back in the middle overs. Sherfane and Akeal did a fantastic job towards the end o finish the game on the very last ball as they won by five wickets.
Multan Sultans had played against Lahore Qalandars in their last encounter where Multan Sultans won the toss and elected to bat. On a good batting track, they lost skipper Rizwan early but made a sensational comeback from there to put up a total of 214 runs on the board which included a fabulous knock of 96 from Usman Khan. Qalandars had started well but once they started losing wickets, they kept losing one after the other and soon were bowled out for 154 losing the game by 60 runs.
