Karachi Kings will lock horns with Peshawar Zalmi in the 29th match of the Pakistan Super League 2024 at the National Stadium in Karachi on March 11. Peshawar Zalmi has been successful in four of their nine games while being present at the fifth place. Peshawar Zalmi, on the other hand, has played nine matches so far and has won five to grab the second position.
Karachi Kings had played against Lahore Qalandars in their previous where Karachi Kings won the toss and chose to bowl. Lahore did not start well but had an excellent partnership for the second wicket to make things right. Fakhar and Shafique brought up their fifties each and good finishing by David led them to a good total of 177. Karachi started off really well and were marching ahead to victory but some good bowling performance in the middle overs put the game in a good place. Malik hit a last-ball four to win them a close match by three wickets.
Peshawar Zalmi had played against Quetta Gladiators in their last encounter where Quetta Gladiators won the toss and elected to bowl. Being put to bat, Peshawar simply blew Quetta out of the game the way they started. Several players did well with Babar yet again leading from the front as they posted a huge total of 196 on the board. Quetta started well with the bat but once the opening stand broke, they just kept losing one after the other. Every bowler picked up a wicket at least as they were bowled out for 120 losing by 76 runs.
