Lahore Region Blues will lock horns with Multan Region in the 20th match of the Pakistan Cup at the Abbottabad Cricket Stadium in Abbottabad on November 9. Both these teams have a similar record so far in the tournament, with two wins and losses from their four matches, and are placed fourth and fifth, respectively, in the points table.

Lahore Region Blues last played against Peshawar Region, where Peshawar Region won the toss and elected to field. The match was reduced to 45 overs a side due to persistent rain, and Lahore started decently after rain subsided. Captain Imran Butt held the fort from one end, scoring a brilliant 94, but batters kept coming and going from the other end. As a result, they were bowled out for a mere 173. Peshawar lost a wicket early, but a series of decent partnerships followed, due to which they easily cruised to the target and won the match comfortably by six wickets.

Multan Region squared off against FATA in their last game, where Multan Region won the toss and elected to field. Being put to bat, FATA started well, with the opening pair adding up 56 runs. However, as the partnership broke, it opened the dam of wickets, as wickets kept falling one after the other. With a fifty from Mohammad Sarwar, they were able to post 189 runs on the board. Multan did not start too well with their chase. They had a couple of decent partnerships but were not able to sustain for longer and so were bowled out for just 129, losing the match by 60 runs.
