Lions (LIO) will clash against Western Province (WEP) in the final of the CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge Division One 2022 at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on Thursday (December 29). Lions beat the Dolphins in their last group stage match by seven wickets while chasing a 171-run target. They topped the league table with six wins from seven group-stage fixtures with 27 points. Western Province also recorded a big 74-run victory against the Rocks in the last group-stage match to secure a place in the final. They won five of their seven group-stage matches to finish in the second position with 23 points.
