Luxembourg will lock horns with France in the 6th match of the ECI Switzerland 2023 at the Stadium Grundenmoos in St Gallen on August 13. Luxembourg have played three games and are yet to win any so far. They are languishing at the bottom of the table. France, on the other hand, have played three matches where they have won just one and are in the second position in the rankings.

Luxembourg squared off against Switzerland in their last encounter, where Switzerland won the toss and elected to bat. After an explosive start, they lost a couple of wickets, but this actually fuelled their scoring rate as the pair of Osama Mehmood and Izhar Hussain slammed 128 runs for third wicket partnership. Luxembourg received a mammoth target of 173 in reply, of which they had started well with both their openers in good shape. However, once the openers were gone, none of the other batters could continue, and hence they lost the match by 48 runs.

France had played against Switzerland in their last match, where France had won the toss and elected to bat. Winning the toss and choosing to bat proved to be a horrible decision as they had lost four wickets just at the score of 16. Their middle order also did not come to the party, and pretty soon, they were bowled out for just the score of 65. Switzerland started aggressively with their chase but lost two wickets soon. However, this did not hold them back, and they chased down the total easily and won the match by seven wickets.
