Mumbai Indians will host Punjab Kings in the 31st game of the Indian Premier League 2023 on Saturday (April 22) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The Kings have won three of their last five outings against MI. MI have won three out of five games so far this season and are in sixth place in the points table. They are on a three-match winning streak and are coming into this game after defeating the Sunrisers Hyderabad in their previous outing.
MI made 192 runs for the loss of five wickets against the Sunrisers in 20 overs while batting first. Cameron Green was promoted in the batting order and scored his maiden half-century in IPL. In reply, the Sunrisers scored 178 runs in 19.5 overs before they were all out. Green picked one wicket for 29 runs in four overs and clinched the Player of the Match award.
