MI Cape Town will take on Paarl Royals in the Qualifier 1 of the SA20. This match will be played at St George's Park in Port Elizabeth. MI Cape Town were the table toppers with seven wins in ten matches. On the other hand, Paarl Royals came second in the table with seven wins and three losses in ten matches. The winner of this match will move to the Final while the loser will play in Qualifier 2 against the winner from Eliminator. 

MI Cape Town have had a very good season and have won their previous four matches leading up to this game. Led by Rashid Khan they have a very strong core of batters and few good all-rounders. They are one of the favorites to win the title this season and will be keen to put up a good show. On the other hand, Paarl had a great start to the season but have lost their previous two matches and will be wihtout the services of Joe Root.

These two sides have met each other twice in this edition and both teams have won once. So this promises to be another exciting match between these two sides and it is a crucial game as the winner will get a direct entry to the Final.
