Multan Sultans (MUL) will take on Karachi Kings (KAR) in the third match of the PSL 2024 on Sunday (February 18) at the Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan. They have played 11 matches so far against each other. Multan have won five matches, while Karachi have been victorious in six games.
Multan won six out of 10 matches last season and finished in second place in 2023. Karachi won three out of 10 matches and were in fifth position. Mohammad Rizwan will lead Multan again this season. Reece Topley has withdrawn his name from the tournament after the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) didn’t grant him the No Objection Certificate (NoC). Ihsanullah has been ruled out of the tournament due to an elbow injury. He was named the Emerging Player last season.
Karachi have released Imad Wasim from the squad and has brought in Shan Masood. Masood will lead the side this season. James Vince, Kieron Pollard, and Tim Seifert are the key overseas players in the squad.
