Preview
Mysore Warriors will lock horns with Bangalore Blasters in the 25th match of the Maharaja T20 League 2023 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on August 25. Mysore Warriors have won five out of eight games that they have played and are in the second position. Bangalore Blasters have played eight matches and have yet to win any. They are languishing at the bottom of the table.
Mysore Warriors had played against Mangalore Dragons in their last match, where Mysore Warriors won the toss and elected to field. Mangalore particularly did not have the start they would have hoped for, but Rohan Patil played an excellent knock to bring them back on track. He was supported by a few other batters, which led the team to a total of 140 runs. The Warriors lost a wicket early but had brilliant third and fourth-wicket partnerships for them to win the match easily by seven wickets with 21 balls to spare.
Bangalore Blasters had squared off against Gulbarga Mystics in their last encounter, where Gulbarga Mystics won the toss, and they elected to field. Blasters had a rather slow but decent start, although they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. As a result, they were able to put up only 113 runs on the board. Mystics lost a wicket early, but after the loss of the first wicket, they started playing aggressively and increased their scoring rate. They always kept their scoring rate up, and as a result, they were able to chase the score with more than five overs to spare and won the match by five wickets.
