Mysore Warriors will take on Gulbarga Mystics in the eighth match of the Maharaja T20 Trophy. This match will be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Mysore Warriors suffered a five-wicket defeat in the previous match against Mangalore Dragons. They posted 201/5 in the first innings on the back of an excellent half-century by captain Karun Nair and handy cameos by Manoj Bandage and Kathik. It looked a good score at the halfway mark but the bowlers failed to provide early breakthroughs and in the end the target was chased down in the 19th over. They will be keen to put up an improved bowling performance.

On the other hand, Gulbarga Mystics lost their previous match against Hubli Tigers. They were bowled out for 138 while batting first and later the target was chased down with 7 wickets left. That loss has dented their NRR and they need to make a quick turnaround. This promises to be an exciting match.
