Match 8 of the Super Six Stage of the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier will be played between Netherlands and Scotland. Sri Lanka have already qualified for the ICC World Cup 2023, and this game will serve as the virtual qualifier for Scotland and the Netherlands. Oman were able to score 246 runs for the loss of six wickets in 44 overs. Aryan Dutt scalped three wickets, while Ryan Klein picked up two wickets. The Netherlands will have to win this upcoming game by a significant margin to qualify for the World Cup, as Scotland's NRR is higher than the Netherlands.
Scotland squared off against Zimbabwe in their previous match, where they came out victorious by 31 runs. Scotland posted 234 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 50 overs. He got support from another end in the form of Wesley Madhevere, who scored 40 runs off 39 balls. Madhevere was dismissed by Mark Watt in the 31st over. Ryan Burl scored 83 runs off 84 balls, but he lacked support from another end after Madhevere's wicket and was dismissed by Michael Leask. Zimbabwe were bundled out for 203 and were eliminated from the World Cup race.
