Ireland A began their three match ODI series against Nepal with a close win in a low scoring encounter. Matthew Humphreys was the star with the ball as he picked a fifer to help his team win the game. Nepal A on the other hand saw their batting collapse despite chasing a very paltry total.

Nepal A (NEP-A) were bowled out for just 136 while chasing 158 runs to win. Just four batters managed to reach double figures in what was a dismal showing with the bat. The bowling was the only positive for Nepal as Kamal Airee picked 4 wickets to lead the charge.
