Preview
The second semi-final of the Maharashtra Champions League T20 is scheduled to be contested between New Hind Sports Club and Sai Sia Cricket Club. The match will be played at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Stadium in Ratnagiri. The winner of this epic battle will face the victor of the first semi-final between Munde Sports Club and Pradeep Sports Club on Sunday, March 17.
New Hind Sports Club come into the semi-final high on confidence as they are one of the two unbeaten teams still left in the tournament. But going into the game, both of their top highest run-getters have managed to score just 72 runs from their three games. The batting is still a big gaping issue for the side and needs to be addressed ahead of the knockout stages.
Sai Sia Sports Club lost just a single game ahead of the knockout stages of the tournament. They would be hopeful of forgetting that sole loss behind while entering into the contest. Their batting has been a real strength with the great form of Divyam Shah who has notched up 104 runs thus far.
