Preview

The New Zealand side is all set to turn their fortunes against England in the third and final Test match, slated to take place on December 14 at Seddon Park in Hamilton. Ben Stokes and his men, who lead the series 2-0, are on the verge of registering a whitewash after their resounding victories in the first two Test matches.

The visitors will be looking to maintain their dominating form and secure a whitewash, adding another feather to their cap in the Test match. England's back-to-back performances with both bat and ball have been the key to their victory in the first two Test matches. England has already spoiled the party of the hosts, which saw them drop out of the 2025 WTC Final qualification.

On the other hand, Tom Latham and his men have been presented with an opportunity to salvage pride and avoid a shambolic clean sweep against England at home. With star pacer Tim Southee set to play his final Test match, the inaugural WTC champions will aim to deliver a strong performance and a fitting farewell to the former Kiwi captain.

Coming to the team dynamics, England have announced their playing XI for the final Test match, with Matt Potts replacing Chris Woakes in the third Test match. In contrast, New Zealand might field an unchanged side for this final thriller.
