Preview

New Zealand will take on India in the 12th match of the ICC Champions Trophy. This match will be played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Champions Trophy 2025 will be held from 19 February to 9 March 2025 and will be contested by the top eight ranked men's national teams. Group A includes Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and New Zealand. At the same time, Group B includes Australia, England, Afghanistan, and South Africa.

Each team has only 3 games and it is virtual knockout cricket so expect Champions Trophy 2025 to be a high-pressure and well-contested event. This is the final group stage match. India and New Zealand have faced each other in 118 matches in ODI. Out of these 118 games, India have won 60 whereas New Zealand have come out victorious on 50 occasions.

Both these teams have already qualified for the semi finals with wins over Pakistan and Bangladesh. The winner of this match will top the Group A and so this match will be important for both teams. India might rest a few players for this match as there is only one day gap before they play the semis while New Zealand are expected to bring back Mitchell who has recovered from the injury. This promises to be an exciting match betweeen these two sides.
