New Zealand will take on Pakistan in the second T20I match of the Pakistan tour of New Zealand. This match will be played at the University Oval in Dunedin. The tour comprises five T20 Internationals (T20Is), followed by three One Day Internationals (ODIs), scheduled from March 16 to April 5.
Pakistan have named Salman Ali Agha as the captain for this series with both seniors Babar and Rizwan being left out. The squad for the tour includes young talents Abdul Samad and Hassan Nawaz, both of whom have been selected for the national team for the first time. On the other hand, New Zealand has included seven players from their Champions Trophy finalist squad for the series. All-rounder Michael Bracewell has been named as the team's captain.
The opening match of the series was won by New Zealand quite comprehensively by nine wickets. Pakistan were bowled out for just 92 in the first innings and New Zealand chased it down in 10 overs. Kyle Jamieson was the player of the match for picking up three wickets in his four overs while giving away only eight runs. Pakistan will be keen to bounce back and this should be an exciting match.
