New Zealand will take on Pakistan in the fourth T20I of Pakistan's tour of New Zealand. This match will be played at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui. The tour comprises five T20 Internationals (T20Is), followed by three One Day Internationals (ODIs), scheduled from March 16 to April 5.
Pakistan have named Salman Ali Agha as the captain for this series with both seniors Babar and Rizwan being left out. The squad for the tour includes young talents Abdul Samad and Hassan Nawaz, both of whom have been selected for the national team for the first time. On the other hand, New Zealand has included seven players from their Champions Trophy finalist squad for the series. All-rounder Michael Bracewell has been named as the team's captain.
The series is nicely poised with New Zealand leading it 2-1. After losing the opening two games comprehensively, Pakistan bounced back in style as they beat New Zealand by nine wickets in the third T20I at Eden Park. Pakistan chased down a target of 204 on the back of an excellent hundred by Hassan Nawaz. This promises to be a closely fought game.
