Preview
New Zealand will take on South Africa in the second match of the ODI Tri-Series. This match will be played at Multan Cricket Stadium. This series provides a good opportunity for Pakistan, New Zealand and South Africa to get prepared for the upcoming Champions Trophy which will be played in Pakistan in this month. New Zealand won the opening match against Pakistan by 78 runs.
For this match of the ODI tri-series, South Africa also have an array of new options to look at with six uncapped players also added in the Temba Bavuma-led side and there are a lot of senior players who will miss this game as they were part of the SA20 league back home. Meeka-eel Prince, Gideon Peters, Eathan Bosch, and Mihali Mpongwana are all uncapped at this level and we can expect quite a few debuts this game.
New Zealand are the table toppers having won the opening match against Pakistan. They were dominating throughout the game with both bat and ball. Glenn Phillps was the star scoring a century with Mitchell and Williamson also getting half centuries. Then in the bowling Henry scalped three wickets and spinners shared six wickets among them to get a massive win. This promises to be an exciting match between these two sides.
