Preview
The Women’s Premier League certainly would have brought in a lot of viewers across the world but now the attention has certainly shifted to international cricket. The second T20I between New Zealand Women and England Women is set to be played out tomorrow at Saxton Oval, Nelson. The visitors won the first game by 27 runs and all the attention would be on the hosts to make a stunning comeback.
The New Zealand Women’s team have a good record of making comebacks and would look to do so with their experienced squad in this game. Their batting was the main concern in the previous game as despite having six wickets in hand they were not able to chase down the target set by England Women.
The visitors had a great outing in Dunedin during the last T20I encounter between the two sides. They would be hoping to have a similar performance this time around at the Saxton Oval. Without the likes of some of the more experienced players in the team, they would be hoping to win the T20I series with a game to spare as well.
