New Zealand Women will take on Sri Lanka Women in the second match of the Sri Lanka Women tour of New Zealand. This match will be played at McLean Park in Napier. This series consists of a 3 Match T20I Series and a 3 Match ODI Series, commencing with the ODI Series on the 4th of March in Napier. The opening match was abandoned due to rain

Suzie Bates will lead New Zealand Women for both T20I and the ODI Series without their regular skipper Sophie Devine. On the other hand, Sri Lanka Women have named a very strong and will be captained by the experienced Chamari Attapaththu. Amelia Kerr will also miss this series as she is participating in the ongoing Women's Premier League playing for the Mumbai Indians side.
