Preview

New Zealand Women will take on Sri Lanka Women in the third match of the Sri Lanka Women tour of New Zealand. This match will be played at McLean Park in Napier. This series consists of a 3 Match T20I Series and a 3 Match ODI Series, commencing with the ODI Series on the 4th of March in Napier. The opening match was abandoned due to rain, and second match was won by New Zealand. 

Suzie Bates will lead New Zealand Women for both T20I and the ODI Series without their regular skipper Sophie Devine. On the other hand, Sri Lanka Women have named a very strong and will be captained by the experienced Chamari Attapaththu. Amelia Kerr will also miss this series as she is participating in the ongoing Women's Premier League playing for the Mumbai Indians side. 

New Zealand Women have been hit by another injury with Bella James also ruled out and Lauren Down will replace her. New Zealand Women have the edge over Sri Lanka in the H2H having won 12 out of the 15 matches these two sides have met..
