After facing a humiliating defeat against Bangladesh by 0-2 in the home Test series and enduring a 1338-day-long drought of wins at home soil, Pakistan (PAK) will take on England (ENG) in the first Test of the three-match Test series on October 7, 10:30 AM (IST). Multan’s Multan Cricket Stadium will host this ‘Test of Prestige’ for Pakistan against the confident ‘Bazball’.
Pakistan is coming off two consecutive clean-sweep series defeats in the game’s traditional format. Following a 0-3 defeat against Australia in Australia in the December 2023-January 2024 series, they lost to the lower-ranked Bangladesh by 0-2 in a home Test series, leaving a lot of questions and puzzles for the management and Pakistan cricket’s decision-makers.
Speaking of England, they have been through a brilliant run of form at home in their last five games. It includes a 2-1 series win against Sri Lanka at home last month following a comprehensive 3-0 win against West Indies in another home series. Now, they will be eyeing repeating their performance against Pakistan in Pakistan which they delivered back in December 2022.
As the team gears up for the upcoming clash, all eyes will be on the thrilling competition set to unfold on the cricket field. Ahead of the game, here is a look at the Dream11 predictions, the fantasy tips, the pitch report, the top player picks, and the best-predicted XIs for the fantasy contests of the match.
