Preview

After suffering a humiliating defeat by an innings and 47 runs against the England cricket team in the first Test match played at Multan Cricket Stadium last week, the Pakistan cricket team is all set to face Ben Stokes and his men in the second Test match, slated to take place on October 15.

Despite posting a massive total of 556 runs in the first innings of the game, Shan Masood led Pakistan to lose the series opener by an innings margin. As a result of the team's horrendous performance, Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Naseem Shah have been dropped from the squads for the last two matches of the series. The Men in Green will aim to put on a stunning show in the second Test match to beat England and level up the series.

Meanwhile, Ben Stokes is returning to action after suffering a hamstring injury during the Men's Hundred Tournament 2024, which ruled him out of the home Test series against Sri Lanka and the first Test against Pakistan. The star all-rounder will be aiming to guide his side to win the second Test and seal the series by 2-0.
