Papua New Guinea will take on Philippines in the fourth match of the ICC Mens T20 World Cup East Asia Pacific Qualifier. This match will be played at the Amini Park in Moresby. Four teams will play 12 matches at Port Moresby over eight days with one spot open for them at the biggest ICC Men’s T20 World Cup ever, in the West Indies and the United States of America (USA) in June 2024.
Papua New Guinea won their opening match of the tournament against Vanuatu by 9 wickets after chasing down a target of 71 within 7 overs. On the other hand, Philippines suffered a 53 run defeat against Japan as they failed to chase down 166 runs. PNG are expected to win this match but we can expect Philippines to put up a good fight in this match.
