Papua New Guinea will take on Vanuatu in the second match of the ICC Mens T20 World Cup East Asia Pacific Qualifier. This match will be played at the Amini Park in Moresby. Four teams will play 12 matches at Port Moresby over eight days with one spot open for them at the biggest ICC Men’s T20 World Cup ever, in the West Indies and the United States of America (USA) in June 2024.
Papua New Guinea will be led by Assad Vala and have plenty of experienced players in the squad. Charles Amini, Sese Bau and Norman Vanua will be some of the key players from this squad and they will be keen to put up a good performance. On the other hand, Vanuatu will depend a lot on Patrick Matautaava, Andrew Mansale and Jarryd Allan will be the players to watchout for from the Vanuatu side. Papua New Guinea will start as favourites to win this match.
