Preview
Chennai Super Kings will travel to Bengaluru to take on the home side, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, in a huge game on Saturday (May 18). Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have to win the game to keep their hopes of playoffs alive. After being stuck at the bottom of the table for most of the season, RCB made a tremendous comeback with five wins on the trot. The washout on Thursday, which gave Sunrisers Hyderabad one point, has more or less made things difficult for RCB. Faf du Plessis has to beat CSK by a better margin to make it through as the 4th team in the table.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) just have to win on Saturday to make it through to the playoffs. With three wins out of 5 games, the defending champions have been plagued with inconsistency this year. Injuries to two key bowlers and the loss of Mustafizur Rahman to international duty has hurt the Super Kings. One thing that is going in favor of the men in yellow is the fact that their batters are in good form and will fancy taking on the RCB bowlers.
